Programme Description

This master’s programme offers specialised, high‑quality training in the current accounting, financial and tax systems. It is aimed at graduates and professionals wishing to specialise in these fields.

The complexity and dynamic nature of the tax, accounting and financial systems fully justify a training proposal like this, consolidated over previous editions and responding to the current needs of companies and professionals in the region. It provides key updates and prepares professionals to interpret and analyse organisational information.

Programme Objectives

Understand direct, indirect and sub‑state (regional and local) taxation.
Prepare, manage, analyse and interpret accounting and financial information.
Acquire appropriate economic and business terminology, with solid knowledge of fundamental accounting and financial concepts and tools.
Gain a generalist vision of the accounting and financial processes of organisations and their environment.

Programme Structure

The Master in Accounting, Financial and Tax Management (60 ECTS) consists of three training modules plus the Master’s Final Project (TFM).

The modular design of the programme allows each module to be taken individually or combined in pairs to earn a postgraduate qualification.

Students who have completed a postgraduate programme may obtain the Master’s degree by completing the remaining module and the TFM.

University graduates in the economic and business fields (Business Management, Business Studies, Business Administration and Management, Economics, Law, Public Management and Administration, etc.). Also, holders of a Higher Vocational Diploma (CFGS) in Administration and Finance and/or professionals with sector experience who wish to broaden their knowledge.

This training may be funded by the company through FUNDAE. Alternatively, if training takes place during working hours, the company may deduct salary costs for the hours the employee invests in training through an Individual Training Permit (PIF).

Financial optimisation: Financial statement analysis with artificial intelligence.
Management accounting (costs).
Accounting management with Sage 200C.
Creative accounting.

Module 2. Tax Management (15 ECTS)

Tax management: General part.
Personal income tax and wealth tax.
Corporate tax.
VAT.
Transfer Tax (TPO) and Stamp Duty (AJD).
International taxation.
Sub‑state local taxation.

Module 3. Financial Management (15 ECTS)

Cash management.
Credit management.
Financial markets and instruments.
Maximising profitability: Investment evaluation and financial risk control.
Budget forecasting and control.
Wealth management.
AI applications in the financial management environment.
Self‑knowledge and Personal Effectiveness Training using Insights Discovery.
