Like any professional, podiatrists must always stay up to date in our field in order to provide the best care for our patients.
Applied podology is an essential branch of the profession, which has evolved greatly in recent years. Today, both materials and technology have advanced, requiring us to remain attentive to changes and updates in the sector.
Understanding that each patient requires customized elements with specific characteristics is essential in order to establish an optimal orthopodological treatment, as comprehensive as possible whenever feasible.
For the first time, general orthopedics sessions are being introduced, led by professionals in the field, with the aim of improving patients’ quality of life. We treat human beings, human bodies—not just feet.
This is why, from Campus Manresa, drawing on years of experience in continuing education, we are taking a step further by presenting the Master in Applied Podology. A comprehensive program designed for podiatrists to expand and develop their knowledge and skills in plantar supports and other orthopedic devices.
Orthotic devices will be at the forefront, taught with audiovisual resources and extensive, high-quality materials. What makes this program unique is the large number of hours dedicated to hands-on workshop practice, where students will develop their manual dexterity, speed, and aesthetic quality in creating orthopodological devices tailored to each patient.
