Programme description
Mental health is a global challenge, and physical activity is one of the therapeutic tools with the strongest scientific evidence for improving well-being, reducing symptoms and supporting recovery. However, access to effective physical activity interventions within the public mental health network remains limited. This programme trains professionals to design, implement and evaluate physical activity interventions integrated within mental health services, aligned with current recovery models, person-centred care and international standards (WHO, EPA).
General objective of the programme
To train professionals to incorporate physical activity in a structural and sustainable way into mental health resources and services, both in community and clinical settings.
