Urogenital system dysfunctions are common health problems that occur throughout a woman’s life cycle. They lead to a deterioration in quality of life and have an impact on women’s work, psychosocial, emotional, and sexual well-being.
The midwife is the healthcare professional who accompanies women throughout their entire life cycle and, therefore, plays a key role in both the prevention and treatment of urogenital dysfunctions.
The Postgraduate Diploma in Urogynecology for Midwives is aimed at the specialization of midwives in the field of urogynecology, in order to provide a comprehensive approach to the various pelvic floor situations and pathologies that women may experience throughout their lives.
This is a pioneering postgraduate program at the national level that, thanks to its particularly practical approach through seminars, workshops, and simulations, enables the acquisition of the knowledge and skills necessary to intervene in the field of female urogenital dysfunctions.
