Programme Description
The diversity of intravascular devices and implantation techniques, together with the complexity of current pharmacotherapy and the need for early detection and effective management of complications, makes specific training in the field of infusion therapy and vascular access essential.
To address this need, UManresa—together with experts and in collaboration with Althaia, Xarxa Assistencial Universitària de Manresa—has designed a master’s programme aimed at providing participants with both theoretical and practical knowledge in infusion therapy and vascular access, as well as the skills needed to work as specialised nurses in this field.
Programme Objectives
- Provide theoretical and practical knowledge on infusion therapy and vascular access, based on scientific evidence.
- Develop the core skills required to work as an infusion and vascular access nurse.
- Understand the functions, mission, vision, and values of infusion and vascular access teams.
- Gain knowledge in the field of scientific nursing research.
Why is this programme of interest?
- Learning from active expert instructors with national and international backgrounds.
- The master’s programme is compatible with your work life: online theory and on-site attendance only for the practical component.
- Opportunity to undertake clinical placements in national and international hospitals with an EIAV.
- Participation in basic and advanced workshops and in clinical simulation sessions.
- Possibility of validating clinical placements to adapt the programme to your professional background.
