The fields and areas of speech therapy have expanded significantly, requiring increased theoretical knowledge and new intervention models. This master’s program provides up-to-date, essential knowledge to meet the needs speech therapists may encounter in the field of orofacial myofunctional therapy.
Objectives
- To prepare students to design, plan, organize and carry out assessment and treatment for individuals with motor and sensory disorders.
- To develop the necessary skills for the practical application of evaluation and intervention methods and techniques in various orofacial myofunctional disorders and conditions.
- To foster analytical and clinical reasoning abilities so that students can tailor intervention plans to the specific needs of each patient, making adjustments when necessary.
- To provide students with an intellectually stimulating experience that enhances their skills, competencies and attitudes to work in diverse professional contexts.
- To equip students with the ability to communicate information clearly and effectively in social, scientific and professional settings.
