UManresa has several educational spaces designed to enrich student learning beyond the traditional classroom. Through the Basic Sciences Laboratory, Lab_06 and Espai Àgora, active, practical and competency-based learning based on experimentation, innovation and collaborative work is promoted.
Basic Science Laboratory
The Basic Science Laboratory is a space focused on practical learning in basic sciences, enabling students in health-related degree programmes to apply knowledge of the biological foundations of health through experimental techniques such as microscopy, staining, handling of biological samples, work with anatomical models, and other activities typical of the biomedical field.

Lab_06
The https://lab06.umanresa.cat/Lab 0_6 is an Inclusive Science Space with Free Choice, created and coordinated by the Faculty of Social Sciences of Manresa. It is open throughout the academic year to school groups on school days and to families at weekends. It is a space that generates ideas that can be useful for schools and teachers to promote science from an early age, which has led to various projects at both national and international levels: themed vans (BressolLab, TecnoLab, AiguaLab, Rurallab, GeoLab), the Science and Engineering Awards, knowledge transfer in the creation of new science spaces, support for educational centres, training activities, outreach and research publications, etc.
