Two-factor authentication (2FA)

Greater security for your digital identity

To better protect the data and digital services of the UManresa community, we are activating two-factor authentication (2FA).

From now on, when you access certain platforms, you will be asked for a second authentication factor.

This means that, in addition to your usual password, you will need to verify your identity using a code generated on your mobile phone or computer.

Is it mandatory to activate 2FA?

Yes. 2FA is a security measure for the entire UManresa community to protect access to institutional services and data.

Can I use the same 2FA on my mobile phone and on my computer?

Yes. You can set up 2FA on the device that is most convenient for you. If you need it on more than one device, follow the “additional device” procedure explained in the guides.
