The University Clinic building is a healthcare facility designed for the practice of Physiotherapy, Podiatry, and Speech Therapy, with spaces for both individual and group care, as well as clinical simulation with students from the various programs offered by the institution. It includes a surgical block with an operating room, a recovery bay, and a sterilization room.
The building has a rectangular layout covering 3,500 m², with a ground floor, two upper floors, and a basement equipped as a parking area and a space for out-of-hospital emergency simulations, along with changing rooms and lockers for health sciences students. The west and north façades are clad in black stoneware tiles, giving the building a distinctive character.
It houses the University Clinic’s healthcare services, the Chair of Simulation and Patient Safety, and the CISARC – Center for Innovation in Simulation, as well as the theoretical and practical classrooms for Health Sciences programs.
