The UManresa university community prepares for Marathon Operation 2025

Once again, UManresa has joined The 3Cat Marathon with a solidarity challenge dedicated to cancer research, with the motto: “Detect it, fix it”.

What is Operation Marathon?

The goal was to add 9,300,000 steps among the entire university community, the equivalent of the route between Manresa and the summit of K2.

Overall ranking

Thanks to the participation of the university community, we have finally achieved the solidarity challenge with La Marató, and we could not be prouder. Together, we have added 9,740,800 steps, far exceeding the 9,300,000 steps that separate Manresa from K2. A collective achievement that shows that, step by step, we move forward and build solidarity!

Once the challenge has been achieved, we are sharing the overall ranking and the names of the winners for each degree:

2. Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy – 2,447,665 steps
3. Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education – 1,343,819 steps
