The Equality and Diversity Unit of UManresa supports requests from the university community related to equality and non-discrimination on the grounds of gender and other axes of inequality (functional diversity, social class, race, origin, religion, language, among others). In compliance with Organic Law 2/2023 of the University System, it coordinates the development of the following actions:
- Introduces a gender and non-discrimination perspective in the different areas of the university: teaching, research, and management/administration.
- Implements awareness-raising and training actions.
- Designs and coordinates, in collaboration with other university bodies and services, policies to address discrimination and inequality.
- Promotes actions to prevent gender-based violence and violence for other reasons within the university.
- Ensures conflict resolution and awareness-raising from a gender and intersectional perspective.
- Receives complaints, provides advice, takes measures, follows up on cases, and, where appropriate, refers affected persons to specialised services.
- Provides information and advice to any member of the university community who requests it.
