The Open Classroom is a programme offered by UManresa – FUB that allows participants to take courses from a university degree programme without having to follow the academic pathway leading to the official qualification.
Participants attend classes together with degree students. They may choose to take part in the assessment process and obtain a certificate showing the grade achieved, or attend as auditors and receive a certificate of attendance.
Interested applicants must submit a request to the Vice-Rector’s Office of the Manresa campus, which will assess the suitability of the candidate to take the course. The application form must be sent together with a Curriculum Vitae to the email address secretariafacultats@umanresa.cat.
Possible modes of monitoring the subjects:
- Mode A: students who wish to access the evaluation and be qualified for the different activities carried out. In this case, a certificate will be issued expressing the qualification obtained.
- Mode B: Students who do not wish to access the evaluation or be qualified for the subject. In this case, a certificate of attendance will be issued.

Open Classroom Conditions
- No previous qualification is required to enrol in Open Classroom subjects.
- Certification of attendance or grade obtained, depending on the modality followed.
- The university reserves a maximum of 5 places per subject to be taken in open mode.
- The price of each subject includes the cost of the credits taken and insurance and does not include academic fees.
